Fairline Credit LLC (“Fairline,” “we,” “us”) is a credit repair organization. Performing that service requires handling sensitive personal information, including your Social Security number and credit report data. This policy explains what we collect, why, how it's protected, and what rights you have over it.

What we collect

Identity information you provide directly: name, address, date of birth, Social Security number, phone, email, and government ID images (for identity verification, as required to pull credit reports on your behalf).

Credit report data we retrieve from the credit bureaus, with your authorization: your credit scores, tradelines, account histories, inquiries, and public records.

Documents you upload for the purpose of preparing and mailing disputes, including supporting evidence and correspondence you choose to provide.

Payment information, processed and stored by our payment processor (Stripe) — Fairline does not store full card numbers on our own servers.

Account and usage information, such as your login activity and the actions you take in the dashboard, used to operate and secure the service.

How we collect it

Directly from you when you sign up, complete onboarding, or upload a document; from the credit bureaus, only after you authorize a report pull; and automatically, in limited form, through basic account activity logs needed to operate and secure the service.

Why we use it

To perform the service you signed up for: verifying your identity, retrieving your credit reports, identifying disputable items, preparing and sending dispute letters you approve, processing payment for services already performed, and complying with our legal and recordkeeping obligations under CROA and other applicable law. We do not use your information to build advertising profiles, and we do not use it for any purpose beyond operating your Fairline account.

How it's protected

Data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest. Access to your records is restricted by row-level security, so your data is visible only to your account and to the limited Fairline personnel and systems that need it to perform the service. Government ID images and other sensitive documents are stored in access-controlled storage, separate from general application data.

Who we share it with

Only the parties required to perform the service you've approved:

Credit bureaus and furnishers — to send the dispute letters you approve and receive their responses.
Our credit-report data provider — to retrieve your reports, only after you authorize a pull.
Our payment processor (Stripe) — to process billing.
Our print-and-mail provider — to physically print and mail letters you approve (Fairline Mail tier only).
Service providers under confidentiality obligations — such as our hosting and database infrastructure (Supabase, Netlify), bound to protect your data and prohibited from using it for their own purposes.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing or advertising purposes.

How long we keep it

We retain your information for as long as your account is active, and afterward for the period required by applicable law, including CROA-related recordkeeping obligations. When information is no longer required to be retained, we take steps to delete or de-identify it.

Your rights

You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information by contacting us at the address below, subject to our legal obligation to retain certain records. If you are a resident of California or another state with its own comprehensive privacy law, you may have additional rights under that law; contact us and we will honor applicable requests.

Children's privacy

Fairline's services are intended for adults age 18 and older and are not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18.

Security incidents

If a security incident affects your personal information, we will notify you and any applicable regulators as required by law.

Changes to this policy

If we make material changes to this policy, we will notify you by email or through your account before the changes take effect.
